Three Nordic authors will discuss their works, all of which speak to Nordic reality in their own way. Vigdis Hjorth has attracted a lot of attention for her writing about her family in recent years. Her books have won numerous awards and been well received, both in Norway and elsewhere. Kim Leine has won the hearts and minds of readers with his books about Greenland, as well as his autobiographical works. Danish writer Kirsten Hammann has published numerous works in her 30 year career and been nominated for the Nordic Council’s Literature Prize three times. Kirsten is attending the RILF for the second time.
Jón Yngvi Jóhannsson Associate Professor at the University of Iceland moderates their discussions, which will take place in Norwegian and Danish.
