An international conference will focus on the publishing industry and the potential for growth in the rights sales market. The event will feature a panel of esteemed professionals, including Edward Nawotka, the editor of Publishers’ Weekly magazine, Cristina Gerosa, publishing director at the Italian publication Iperborea, Sherif Bakr, publishing director at Al Arabi publishing house in Egypt, as well as Madlen Reimer from S. Fischer in Germany, Martin Grae Jørgensen from Turbine in Denmark, Emma Raddatz from Archipelago Books in the USA, and Halldór Guðmundsson, chairman of the board at Icelandic publishing house Forlagið.
The conference will be opened by Heiðar Ingi Svansson, chairman of the Icelandic Publishers’ Association. Host and moderator is Porter Anderson, Editor in chief of Publishing Perspectives.
House opens at 9.00 but conference starts at 9.30.
