Humor manifests itself differently in fiction. It can be dark, light, icy and creepy. Last year, María Elísabet Bragadóttir published the short story collection Room in Another World, which was very well received. A thread of dark humour runs through the collection. Þórarinn Eldjárn is known for his varied publishings of poems, short stories and novels, but in many of his works humor is dominant. Joachim Schmidt is from Switzerland but has lived in Iceland for fourteen years, and has published novels and short stories. His latest book is called Kalmann and is a funny, but dark crime story. Moderated by Kamilla Einarsdóttir.
