Literary director for fiction at Lindhardt and Ringhof, Denmark. The fiction department at L&R publish around 55 new titles pr year, two thirds of these being translated fiction. Home of authors such as Margaret Atwood, Sofi Oksanen, Einar Már Gudmundsson, Siri Hustvedt, Karl Ove Knausgaard, and Danish authors such as Thomas Korsgaard, Maren Uthaug and Merete Pryds Helle. Apart from leading the fiction department Sune de Souza Schmidt-Madsen is also an author and a translator, and has written a prize-winning book on Karen Blixen, that was last year published in Japan.
