
Hernan Diaz is the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of two novels published in thirty-seven languages. His debut, In the Distance, was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and the PEN/Faulkner Award, and won multiple prizes including the Saroyan International Prize. His second novel, Trust, won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, became a New York Times Bestseller, and was named one of the best books of the year by over thirty publications. Trust is also being developed into an HBO limited series. Diaz’s work has appeared in The Paris Review, Harper’s, The Atlantic, and more. He holds a PhD from NYU and has received fellowships from prestigious institutions including the Guggenheim and Whiting Awards.
