Eva Björg Ægisdóttir published her first novel, The Creak on the Stairs, in 2018. The book was an immediate success and went on to win the CWA Debut Dagger, the Blackbird Award, was shortlisted for the Capital Crime Readers’ Awards, and became a number one bestseller in Iceland. Since her debut she has published a book every year. Her novels have been translated or licenced for translation into English, French, German and Polish.
