Dinçer Güçyeter is a German theatre maker, poet, editor, and publisher. In 2012, he founded ELIF Verlag, a publishing house that focuses on poetry, with many Icelandic poets being published in German by the press.
His works include Aus Glut geschnitzt (2017) and Mein Prinz, ich bin das Ghetto (2021). In 2022, Güçyeter was awarded the prestigious Peter Huchel Prize. He also won the 2023 Leipzig Book Fair Prize for Fiction for his debut novel, Unser Deutschlandmärchen.
