Since 2013, Darja Marinšek has worked at Mladinska knjiga, Slovenia’s largest general publisher, where she is currently the commissioning editor for adult fiction. She oversees two literary series and one upmarket series, editing around 15 titles annually.
Her recent acquisitions include works by authors like Solvej Balle, Han Kang, Jón Kalman Stefánsson, Leïla Slimani, Samanta Schweblin, and more. She also leads the fantasy fiction program, contributes to the non-fiction list, and has started a new series for short fiction
