Hervé Le Tellier

Hervé Le Tellier is a French writer and linguist who began his career as a science journalist. He is a member of the group of writers and mathematicians known as Oulipo, who employ specific techniques in their writing. This group has included authors such as Italo Calvino and Georges Perec. Le Tellier published his first book in 1991 but is best known for L’Anomalie, which was released in 2020 and won the Goncourt Prize the same year. No Goncourt-winning book has sold faster than L’Anomalie, and the rights have been sold to 45 languages. Hervé Le Tellier writes articles for various newspapers and magazines and has recently garnered significant attention for his writings on artificial intelligence. Seven of his books have been translated to English.
