Hervé Le Tellier is a French author and linguist who began his career as a science journalist. He is a member of the group of writers and mathematicians known as Oulipo. Le Tellier published his first book in 1991 but is best known for L’Anomalie, which was published in 2020 and won the Goncourt Prize the same year.

Brynja Hjálmsdóttir is a poet and author, with her debut novel Friðsemd being a dystopian story set in a world made almost unrecognizable by climate change.
