Logi Einarsson, Minister of Culture, Innovation and Higher Education, opens the festival and Norwegian writer Knut Ødegård delivers the opening address. 

Musical performance: “Fire korte sange” – a new composition by musical composer Finnur Karlsson to poems by the Greenlandic poet Kuluk Helms, who is a guest of the festival this year. The piece is performed by flutist Björg Brjánsdóttir and singer Þórgunnur Anna Örnólfsdóttir.
