Originally from Germany (where she first worked in publishing as an editor), Cathrin moved to New York City almost two decades ago, and has been a literary scout for more than 14 years. She now divides her time between Brooklyn and coastal Maine (when not traveling to book fairs, or Iceland), working at Liz Gately Scouting as a literary and book to film scout and translator.
