
Kuluk Helms is an Inuk-Danish performing artist, poet, PhD student, and cultural bearer. Her work is often characterized by curiosity, love, and a gentle disruption of norms. Kuluk’s first poetry collection Min Sjæl Har Vokseværk (2023) explores all the difficult and beautiful aspects of, as the title suggests, the life project of growing. Since May 2024, Kuluk has been employed as a PhD student at the PREFER project under the research institute CEARC, Université Paris-Saclay. Her work here focuses on examining the significance of access to culture from an Inuk perspective.
