Rapha\u00eblle Liebaert started in publishing at The Harvill Press (London). She then worked for 7 years at Christian Bourgois \u00e9diteur (Paris) before joining Editions Autrement as Senior Editor. Since 2017, she is Editorial director of La Cosmopolite, Stock’s Foreign fiction collection. The writers with whom she has worked include Paolo Cognetti, Sofi Oksanen, Daisy Johnson, Cecile Pin, Ersi Sotiropoulos, Katie Kitamura, Mikael Niemi, Eva Menasse, Rachel Kushner, Sigrid Nunez , Samar Yazbek and Maria Stepanova.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1708, Stock<\/a> is one of the oldest publishing houses in France and has been part of the Hachette Group since 1961.<\/p>\n

In the prestigious series LA BLEUE, Stock publishes the finest multi-award winning writers from Fran\u00e7oise Sagan to Philippe Claudel, from Annie Ernaux to Adrien Bosc and new voices such as Clara Dupont-Monod and Isabelle Autissier.<\/p>\n

Its foreign fiction list, LA COSMOPOLITE, which celebrated its 100th anniversary last year, includes great authors from Carson McCullers to Paolo Cognetti, from Karen Blixen to Maria Stepanova, from Sigrid Undset to Rachel Kushner.<\/p>\n

On the non-fiction side, the list is quite eclectic from philosophy (Louis Althusser) to thought-provoking investigation (Garance Le Caisne), political memoirs (Fran\u00e7ois Holland and Bernard Cazeneuve) and health (Michel Cymes).<\/p>\n
