He is formally trained in Cinematic Arts and Photography and holds a BFA in Economics. He graduated from Syracuse University in New York. Before transitioning to publishing, he worked as a video editor and cinematographer on commercial ad films. At DC Books, he is responsible for commissioning new works, as well as managing translations and rights.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"432\" data-end=\"547\">Since 2019, Govind has also overseen the audiobook division at DC Books, curating titles for audiobook publication.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"549\" data-end=\"778\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">In addition, Govind curates international and non-Malayalam programming for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.keralaliteraturefestival.com\/\">The Kerala Literature Festival<\/a>, organized by DC Books.
