An exhibition of photographs and video excerpts from Jar\u00f0setning<\/em> (Interment<\/em>) by Anna Mar\u00eda Bogad\u00f3ttir will be on display at Sl\u00f6kkvist\u00f6\u00f0in from April 24 to May 4. In conjunction with the literary festival, the full-length film Jar\u00f0setning<\/em>, which dialogues with the author\u2019s book of the same name, will be screened. Following the screening, Einar Falur Ing\u00f3lfsson will engage in a conversation with Anna Mar\u00eda about the work, in which the demolition of the I\u00f0na\u00f0arbankinn building on L\u00e6kjargata becomes the stage for a wider narrative of community and individual experience.<\/p>\n

We are invited into the building, where we encounter the force of machinery and the power of nature, witnessing the bank\u2019s disintegration and dismantling against the backdrop of everyday city life.
