Thomas Korsgaard is a Danish author who made a breakthrough at the age of only 21 with the book <\/span>If a Human Should Happen to Pass By<\/span><\/i> which was the first book in a trilogy inspired by the author’s life, difficult home circumstances, and upbringing. Korsgaard was once homeless and lived on the streets when he submitted his first manuscript.<\/span><\/p>\n

Erika Fatland is a Norwegian anthropologist who enjoys great popularity for her non-fiction works. She has written seven books that have won numerous awards and have been translated into more than twenty languages. She first gained attention in 2015 with the book <\/span>Sovetistan<\/span><\/i>, where she recounts her travels through the former Soviet republics that have the suffix -stan. In her 2021 book <\/span>The Border<\/span><\/i>, she describes her travels around Russia, visiting all the countries that share a border with Russia. In <\/span>Heights<\/span><\/i>, she tells the stories of people and communities in the Himalayan mountains. Her latest book, <\/span>The Navigators<\/span><\/i>, is a travelogue about the countries that were once part of the fallen Portuguese empire. Erika Fatland is among the most popular non-fiction authors in Norway.<\/span><\/p>\n
