Three authors will discuss post colonial states and the colonial legacy of the West, each from their own unique perspective. Portuguese writer Gon\u00e7alo Tavares<\/a>, who was born in Angola, the former colony of his homeland, will take the stage together with Boualem Sansal<\/a> and Kim Leine<\/a>. Sansal’s books have been banned in his home country, and the Danish author Kim Leine is best known for his colonial trilogy, which deals with Greenland’s relationship with Denmark. The discussion will be moderated by translator Helga Soff\u00eda Einarsd\u00f3ttir.<\/span><\/p>\n
